Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN - $2,141 per week

About the role

Travel nursing assignment in Hackensack, New Jersey for a Med Surg / Telemetry RN. Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Telemetry and cardiac monitoring
• EKG interpretation
• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Wound care
• Post-procedural care
• Patient education and discharge planning

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience in a Med Surg / Telemetry unit within a major acute care hospital
• ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) required; BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferred
• ACLS certification
• BLS (AHA)
• NIHSS certification
• Telemetry certification
• 4 hours of CEU Contact Stroke education
• Active New Jersey state professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
