Travel Med Surg Telemetry RN - $2,186 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Med Surg / Telemetry assignment in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

About the role

This is a 13-week travel contract at a hospital, with a start date of 09/14/2026. The position offers 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift (20:00 - 08:30).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a mixed med-surg telemetry unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient status for general med-surg, telemetry, and specialized diagnoses including COPD, urology, gynecology, cellulitis/wound care, palliative care, infectious processes, gastrointestinal issues, post-surgery recovery, observation, and cardiac cath recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.
• Participate in required holiday and weekend shifts, including every other weekend.
• Float within the specialty and to other units or sister facilities as needed.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Maryland.
• BLS certification.

Pay

Pay range: $2,092.00 - $2,196.60 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
