Travel Med Surg Telemetry RN - $2,142 per week
About the role
The Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit will provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population of adolescents and adults. The role involves administering medications, monitoring patient vitals, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient vitals and responses to treatments.
- Cook up care with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy and Respiratory Services.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and medications.
- Manage telemetry equipment and respond to telemetry alerts as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
- Previous charge experience preferred.
- Experience using EPIC charting system required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Valid PA or Compact nursing license required at the time of submission.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Pennsylvania or compact nursing license.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00).
