About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Med/Surg Telemetry. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and hold a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.
- Monitor and assess patient health status, including ECG rhythm recognition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in charting systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
- Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand at time of submission.
- Current American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Completion of NIHSS certification prior to start date is necessary.
- Two references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required.

Pay
The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
This is a 13-week contract position. Shifts are 12 hours, nights, and the schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
