Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN - $1,998 per week

About the role

Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry. Discipline: RN. Start Date: October 20, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Employment Type: Travel. Shift: 12‑hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with a 36‑hour guarantee per week.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and evaluating patient conditions using age‑specific criteria.
• Administering and titrating cardiac medications including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine.
• Monitoring telemetry and heart rhythms.
• Recognizing signs and symptoms of stroke and providing appropriate interventions.
• Teaching and directing non‑RN staff such as LPNs and PCTs.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• NIHSS Certification.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Competency with telemetry and cardiac monitoring.
