Travel Med Surg Telemetry RN - $1,887 per week

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, demonstrating critical thinking skills, and working effectively under pressure. The RN will work with patients across all age groups and support their recovery through comprehensive care and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Documentation of patient care in the EHR system.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding treatment and health maintenance.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license in Virginia.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting preferred (1-2 years).
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Schedule

• Assignment Duration: 13-week contract
• Schedule: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Hours: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts
