Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN - $1,722 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a 13‑week contract in State College, Pennsylvania. Start date: October 5, 2026. The position requires 36 hours per week on night shift (12‑hour shifts, 19:00–07:00) with every other weekend floating required.

Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care to 6‑7 patients per shift.
• Managing telemetry and monitoring patients' vital signs.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Performing patient assessments and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilizing skills such as IV management, blood product administration, and care of chest tubes.
• Implementing isolation precautions and managing infection control.

Requirements

• Active nursing license (PA/compact).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS required.
• Telemetry experience necessary.
• Charting system experience with Cerner preferred.
• Previous charge experience preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
