About the role
We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN to join our team and provide quality patient care during the winter months. This is a 13-week contract position with the possibility of extension, requiring a valid Ohio license or a compact state license to fill immediate staffing needs in our telemetry unit.
Schedule
- Night shift, 3 × 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
- 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry environment
- Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure best practices in patient care
- Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication administration
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
- Active Ohio nursing license or Compact State License
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Recent Epic charting experience (within the last 6 months)
- One reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applied for
