About the role

This is a 13-week travel contract position for a Registered Nurse in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The role involves managing patients with diverse medical conditions, including dementia, diabetes, COVID-19, pneumonia, COPD, and more.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with diverse medical conditions.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, recognizing dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy, including insulin protocols.
• Provide wound care and manage feeding tubes.
• Participate in pre/post hemodialysis management and blood product administration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting.
• Active RN license (NC or Compact license pending OK for submission).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• EKG testing must be passed prior to start.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
