About the role
We are seeking a skilled Travel Med Surg RN to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient conditions and monitoring cardiac telemetry data
- Administering medications and treatments according to standards
- Preparing patients for procedures and assisting physicians
- Documenting patient information and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensuring safety, infection control, and discharge planning
- Advocating for patients and maintaining professional ethics
Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license and current BLS certification
- Preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS
Skills
- Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Proficiency in documentation, following instructions, and working under pressure
- Effective sensory and motor skills
