Travel Med Surg RN - $2,647 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solution External is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Rockport, Maine. The assignment starts 11/16/2026, lasts 13 weeks, and requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts (0645‑1915) as a travel employee.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient‑focused care on a medical‑surgical/telemetry unit.
• Remain organized and perform IV therapy.
• Conduct telemetry monitoring and complete accurate documentation.
• Float to other units as required.
• Adhere to unit‑specific protocols and maintain a positive, professional, team‑player attitude.
• Follow the dress code: scrubs without prints, clean and in good repair.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience preferred, plus travel experience.
• Current RN license (implied).
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Completion of assigned LMS education modules.
• Float requirement: yes.

Qualifications

• Ability to care for medical‑surgical patients including orthopedic, general surgery, and urology.
• Experience managing patients with CHF, COPD, and PNA.
• Capable of caring for pediatric patients when PALS certified.
• Familiarity with unit equipment: Plum pumps, Pyxis, Ascom phones, bladder scanner, EKG machine, Phillips Cardiac Monitor.
• Experience with EPIC EMR.
• Unit details: 45 beds, patient ratios 1:5 on days, 1:6 on nights.
