MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel assignment in Peoria, Illinois. Specialty: Med Surg. Discipline: RN. Start date: November 2, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 12‑hour nights. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures; attend to those being treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other treatment team members.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly pay and direct deposit are provided.
