About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment starting August 18, 2026, in Bethel, Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients requiring medical-surgical interventions.
- Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Alaska.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in medical-surgical settings preferred.

Pay
The pay package is based on an 8-hour shift and 32 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 8 hours long, alternating between day and night shifts.
