About the role

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical - Travel - (MS RN) position at Avera De Smet Memorial Hospital, a Critical Access Hospital. Nursing staff perform Inpatient, Outpatient & Emergency Department services as well as Housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical surgical nursing care in a small critical access hospital setting
• Manage 6-10 rooms
• Work across ER, MS, and Telemetry departments
• Perform Inpatient, Outpatient & Emergency Department services as well as Housekeeping duties

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, MS
• 1 Reference in entire work history
• Critical Access Experience
• Experience in ER, MS, and Telemetry (all facets required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Travel
• Meditech experience

Schedule

• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights

Pay

• Pay Rate: $2368.00 - $2490.00
