Travel Med/Surg RN - $2,355 per week

About the role
We are seeking a skilled RN for our Telemetry unit to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will work with adult and geriatric patients, managing conditions such as chest pain, atrial fibrillation, stroke rule out, COPD, and more.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient health status, including telemetry interpretation
- Administer medications and intravenous fluids, including blood administration
- Perform cardioversion and 12 Lead EKG interpretations
- Handle titration of anti-arrhythmic drips as prescribed
- Assist in pre/post procedural care for heart catheterizations, cystoscopy, lithotripsy, EGD, and colonoscopy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Must be able to float as required
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience in telemetry or critical care nursing preferred
Schedule
- 13-week contract position
- Night shift, 3 × 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week
- Weekends and holidays required every other rotation
