About the role
Provide nursing care for up to 10 inpatient rehab (Swing) patients. May absorb med-surg patients if swing volume drops.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for up to 10 inpatient rehab (Swing) patients. May absorb med-surg patients if swing volume drops.
- These patients require less nurse-intensive care than traditional med-surg patients but nothing different from a skill standpoint.
- May scrub in for procedures as needed.
- May absorb med-surg patients if swing volume drops.
Requirements
- 1+ year experience required
- BLS required
- Rehab and/or Med Surg experience required
Qualifications
- No week on/week off
- Number of beds in unit = 10 beds
- Patient ratio = 1:10 (swing patients only)
