Travel Med Surg RN - $2,301 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Med Surg position in Wheeling, West Virginia. This is a 13-week contract position with a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care based on established protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including CHF, COPD, and cellulitis, and report changes as needed.
• Titrate drips as required, particularly heparin based on APTT results.
• Document patient information and care activities accurately using the EPIC system.
• Work alongside a charge nurse and nursing aides to assist with patient care.

Requirements

• Valid RN License.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with patient care in an acute setting preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
