Travel Med Surg RN - $2,193 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing opportunity in Oakland, Maryland. This 13-week contract position involves 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit, managing a variety of patient diagnoses and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with various medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to appropriate personnel.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans.
• Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff.
• Document all patient interactions accurately using the EPIC charting system.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing with a strong background necessary for managing diverse patient needs.
• BLS required; NIHSS certification required for all RNs and LPNs; ACLS and PALS recommended but not required.
• Demonstrated proficiency with the EPIC charting system.

Schedule

• Duration: 13-week contract.
• Shift: 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
• Weekends as scheduled.
• 36 hours per week guaranteed.
