About the role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our MedSurg unit, managing a diverse patient population. The role requires proficiency in inpatient care and the ability to perform nursing tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the MedSurg unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management.
• Document patient care and progress in the electronic health record system.
• Attend to the needs of patients recovering from surgery and those with chronic illnesses.
• Manage care for both 'clean' and 'dirty' patient groups, including COVID-19 cases.

Requirements

• BLS Certification required.
• Valid nursing license to practice in the state.
• Experience in MedSurg nursing preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
