About the role
TotalMed is hiring a Med Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana. This position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and operates on a day shift.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients
- Assist with patient assessments and treatment plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient needs are met
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Louisiana
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience preferred
- Experience in Med Surg setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
