Travel Med Surg RN - $2,088 per week

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a MedSurg/Infectious Disease unit. The nurse will focus on managing patients with various infectious diseases, isolation precautions, and COVID-related cases, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Administer IV medications, antibiotics, and manage typical MedSurg drips.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including CNA and charge nurse support.
• Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions for infectious disease patients.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification required.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of MedSurg nursing and infectious disease protocols.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Travel experience.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 1900–0730 with a half‑hour lunch break, 36 hours per week, weekends as scheduled.
