Travel Med Surg RN - $2,034 per week

Travel nurse RN Med Surg position in Lebanon, Oregon. Start date: 12/14/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 12‑hour days, 36 hours per week. Employment type: Travel. The role requires 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience. Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients' immediate conditions or needs.
• Perform ongoing assessments and appropriate treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients' families.
• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑op patients.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment of patient.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan as prescribed by physician.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Able to easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting patients may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment treating patients that may be confused, agitated, and/or uncooperative.

Requirements

• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• 2 years of recent acute care experience (1‑2 years)
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
