Travel Med Surg RN - $1,998 per week

About the role

This is a Med/Surg / Telemetry RN travel position in Albany, Georgia. Shifts are 12 hours, with options for days or nights. The role requires floating to acute-care units and cardio, and may include caring for medical patients or acute-care holds. Telemetry experience is required. Orientation includes 1 week of general training plus 2 days unit-specific. Scrubs color: Caribbean Blue.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Med/Surg / Telemetry setting
• Work 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM–7:15 PM or 6:45 PM–7:15 AM)
• Work every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Float to acute-care units and cardio as required
• Patient ratio: 1:5, potentially 1:6

Requirements

• Active RN license applicable to the assignment
• 1 year of RN experience plus at least 1 completed travel assignment
• BLS + NIHSS certifications (AHA required)
• Driver’s-license address must be provided for verification and must be more than 75 miles from the hospital
• Willingness to float to other units
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred, but not required

Ideal candidates

We are targeting RNs with experience in Med/Surg, Med/Surg Tele, Telemetry, or acute-care who have:

• At least 1 year of recent experience
• 1 completed travel assignment
• AHA BLS + NIHSS certifications
• Willingness to float
• Residence more than 75 miles from the hospital (based on driver’s-license address)
