Travel Med Surg RN - $1,985 per week

About the role

• 13-week travel contract in Carthage, TN
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
• Patient ratio: 1:5
• Adult/geriatric patient population with occasional pediatric cases
• Common cases: COPD, pneumonia, hip fractures, altered mental status, falls, UTI, abdominal pain
• Key skills: IV insertion, Foley catheter management, pain management, electronic medication administration record (EMAR)
• 25-bed critical-access hospital with a friendly, compassionate team
• Scrubs: any color; no casual wear permitted
• Orientation: held on Mondays
• No call or floating required
• Rotating weekends
• Local rule: must live 60+ miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
• EMR system: Meditech

Requirements

• 1+ year of Med/Surg nursing experience
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• ADN or BSN degree
