Travel Med Surg RN - $1,985 per week

About the role

Travel Med/Surg – Ortho RN position in Gallatin, TN. This is a 13-week contract with a start date of September 7, 2026. Weekly guaranteed hours: 36. Shift: nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM.

• Unit: 23-bed Med/Surg / Ortho / Post-Operative
• Patient ratio: 4–6:1
• Patient population: geriatric, adult, and pediatric (13+)
• Common cases: post-op joints, bariatric surgery, GI surgery, trauma
• Floating: required as needed
• Weekend shifts: approximately every 3rd weekend
• Call: none
• Charting system: Meditech
• Scrubs: any color
• Orientation: weekly on Mondays
• Local radius: candidates must live 60+ miles from the facility to qualify as travel
• State compliance: Tennessee Abuse Registry check required before start

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH
• Active Tennessee RN license
• ASN required
