About the role
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room provides comprehensive care to patients experiencing emergency medical conditions. The facility offers a wide range of surgical services and treats a large volume of patients annually, providing an opportunity to gain varied clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients in emergency situations.
- Administer medications and therapies as per protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatments.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Experience in an emergency department preferred.

Skills

Pay
The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
The shift is 12 hours, nights, starting at 19:00 and ending at 07:00.
