Travel Med Surg RN - $1,940 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13‑week contract in Beckley, West Virginia. The position starts ASAP, requires 36 hours per week on night shift (19:00–07:00), and involves providing high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced medical‑surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient health status and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatment plans as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on healthcare processes and preventive measures.
• Document all patient interactions and care delivered accurately in the electronic medical record.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state of West Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required.
