Travel Med Surg RN - $1,924 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Salem, Virginia. This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, on nights.

Responsibilities

• Care for post-operative patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Maintain and manage patient drains and perform dressing changes.
• Utilize Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, and SCDs.
• Document patient information and care in the Meditech EMR system.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with post-operative patients preferred.
• Competence in dressing changes, wound care, and drain management.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong patient advocacy focus, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and proficient in post-operative patient care.
