About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care unit in a critical access hospital. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients aged 18 and older, with a majority of the patient population being 65 and older.
Responsibilities
- Manage care for patients in a 17-bed unit.
- Provide inpatient, observation, and swing bed services.
- Cookordination with multidisciplinary teams, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy.
- Administer medications and document care effectively using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Perform wound care and manage PICC/CVC lines for patients as needed.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or progressive care setting.
