About the role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, North Carolina. This is a 13‑week contract position with an ASAP start date. The unit is a 24‑bed Med Surg department utilizing the Paragon electronic health record system. The role involves providing high‑quality care to a diverse patient population while maintaining excellent patient experience and outcomes in a collaborative team environment.
Schedule
Night shift: 19:00 – 07:00 (12‑hour shifts), 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
- Participate in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
- Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
