About the role

Travel nurse RN Med Surg position in Sweetwater, Texas. 13‑week contract, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts (7 AM–7 PM). The role is on a combined Adult and Pediatric Med/Surg unit, providing exceptional patient care to adults and children while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a Med/Surg environment for both adults and pediatric patients.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4-6 to ensure optimal care standards.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document patient progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions effectively, responding promptly to changes.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Specialty: Med Surg.
• Discipline: RN.
• Start date: ASAP.
• Duration: 13 weeks.
• Hours: 36 per week (12‑hour day shifts).
