About the role
As a Level II Registered Nurse – Telemetry, you will be accountable for the provision of competent care based on established standards under the direction of the Nurse Manager. This role assumes an expanded responsibility which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member duties. Your clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and commitment to research and evidence-based practice will be integral to patient care.
Schedule: Rotating Shift Schedules (D/E/N), every other weekend, with holidays, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities per unit needs. No straight shift schedules are available.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality care to telemetry patients based on established standards.
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed.
- Serve as a preceptor for new staff and contribute to committee work.
- Engage in professional development and evidence-based practice.
Requirements
- Two years of RN experience.
- Valid RN license in New York (NY license ONLY).
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA ONLY).
- Telemetry experience is required.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
