Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse - $1,638 per week

About the role

The Med-Surg Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care on a 40-bed unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:7. This role entails working in a supportive environment, collaborating with a diverse team including clinical nurse coordinators, nurses, PCTs, and unit coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive assessments of patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Perform necessary procedures including EKGs and venipuncture.
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with a healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Med-Surg nursing experience.
• Current Georgia RN license.
• BLS certification required.

Pay & Schedule

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
