Travel Med Surg / PCU RN - $2,018 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a PCU/Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Lancaster, Ohio, starting August 24, 2026.

About the role

This position is for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse. The assignment lasts 13 weeks with the possibility of extension or other opportunities in the same market.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit setting
• Handle multiple priorities and make independent decisions
• Supervise and direct the work of Nursing Assistants (NAs)
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Manage urgent situations calmly and assertively
• Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Requirements

• Valid RN license to practice in the State of Ohio
• CPR certification
• Completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN)
• Previous Registered Nursing experience preferred

Physical & Cognitive Demands

• Physical: Heavy work involving exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 25 to 50 pounds frequently, and 10 to 20 pounds constantly to move objects
• Psychological/Mental: Ability to regulate emotions, manage stress, and exercise self-control in high-pressure situations. Must handle patients who may be in pain, confused, or agitated
• Cognitive: Intact attention, memory, perception, and thought processes. Strong organizational and reporting skills

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during the assignment.
