Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and state regulations.
- Develop and update patient care plans while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and promote patient safety.
- Utilize critical thinking to identify changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately.
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin RN License
- BLS/CPR Certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
