Travel Med Surg Ortho/Neuro RN - $2,085 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Martinsburg, West Virginia. This is a 12-hour night shift position, requiring three 12-hour night shifts per week, with every other weekend and rotating holidays. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our MedSurg Ortho/Neuro unit. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Provide support during surgeries and post-operative care.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in the management of patient care.
• Monitor IV therapy and manage any potential complications.
• Participate in patient education regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and unencumbered state RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in MedSurg, particularly in Ortho/Neuro, is preferred.
