ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Martinsburg, West Virginia. This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

• 3x12 hour nights
• Every other weekend and rotating holidays

Job Description

The MedSurg Ortho/Neuro unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions. The RN will be responsible for managing patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitoring of patients
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Coordinate with the charge nurse and collaborate with the healthcare team
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system (EPIC)
• Provide compassionate patient care and support to patients and families
• Float to other MedSurg units as needed, ensuring adaptability and teamwork

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Basic arrhythmia knowledge; ability to recognize fatal rhythms
