Travel Med Surg Ortho/Neuro RN - $1,666 per week

About the role

The MedSurg Ortho/Neuro RN will provide comprehensive nursing care for patients on a MedSurg unit focusing on orthopedic and neurological conditions. The role involves assessing patient needs, implementing nursing interventions, and evaluating patient outcomes within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and care for MedSurg patients with Ortho/Neuro conditions.
• Oversee patient admissions, assessments, and care planning.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Utilize appropriate charting and documentation practices using Epic.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MedSurg nursing, with preference given to those with Ortho/Neuro experience.
• Active SC RN license or Compact license required prior to the start of the assignment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Pay & Schedule

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
