Travel Med Surg / Oncology Tele RN - $2,041 per week
About the Role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Chandler, Arizona, starting on 10/12/2026. This is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, focusing on the acute phase.
- Assist patients in managing their disease and treatment effectively, including administering chemotherapy.
- Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures, and particularities of the disease.
- Create a supportive environment for critically or chronically ill cancer patients.
- Monitor patients' progress and implement new methods of symptom treatment.
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS & ACLS Certifications
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting
- Other requirements to be determined by the client facility
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience in oncology nursing, with a focus on acute care. Specialization in areas such as pediatric hematology/oncology or breast cancer is a plus.
