About the role
Responsible for patient care at a medical-surgical facility.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of patients with acute and chronic conditions
- Perform assessments and monitor for changes
- Administer medications and treatments
- Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers within the interdisciplinary team
- Prioritize patient safety
- Ensure effective care transitions
- Educate patients and families
- Document care using the Epic EMR system
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years recent Med Surg experience
- Active Missouri RN license
- Proficiency in managing varied medical-surgical cases
- Ability to perform thorough assessments and respond promptly to patient needs
