Travel Maternal Fetal Sonographer - $2,326 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography professional for a 13‑week assignment in Spokane, Washington. The position is a travel Ultrasound Technologist (US Tech) role requiring 1 year of experience. The US Tech operates ultrasound equipment to produce accurate images for physician interpretation, prepares and cares for patients undergoing ultrasound testing, and maintains equipment and records.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and/or patient's family regarding procedures performed
• Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern
• Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound‑guided biopsies
• Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff
• Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure
• Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist (note: some requirements indicate 2 years)
• BLS certification
• ARDMS National Certification (RDMS OB/GYN)
• State‑specific licensing where required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
