Travel Mammography Technologist - $3,051 per week

About the role

Mammography Technologists at Trustaff Allied work directly with patients to perform diagnostic imaging of the breasts. The position requires extensive knowledge of the technical aspects of the x-ray machine, positioning, and process to ensure accurate diagnostic images.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
• Position patients appropriately for imaging and explain the procedure to them.
• Operate and maintain mammography equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
• Document patient information accurately and prepare reports for radiologists.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Requirements

• Current state certification as a Mammography Technologist.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a medical imaging setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of digital mammography techniques and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
