Travel Mammography Technologist - $2,755 per week

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is hiring Mammography Techs for contract assignments at partnering hospitals in New York, New York. This is a travel position with an 8‑week contract (possible extension), 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate a mammographic unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a physician.
• Explain the procedure to the patient, observe the scanning process, and adjust imaging equipment as needed for improved picture quality.
• Perform additional duties and tasks within the scope of a mammography technologist.

Qualifications

• Mammography Tech National Certificate
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in radiology (preferred)
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• 1 year of relevant experience

Pay

Estimated weekly pay: $2,468 – $2,755 per week (based on 8‑hour shifts, 40 hours/week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined). Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
