About the role
TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for an immediate assignment in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
- Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions.
- Conduct mammography studies and maintain production and quality of mammograms by following established standards and procedures, making necessary adjustments for optimum results.
- Develop mammograms, observe results, retake as required, and forward completed studies to the radiologist for interpretation.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification.
- ARRT (M) National Certification with registration in mammography.
- State‑specific licensing when required.
Skills
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency with the McKesson PACS system.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 32.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
