Travel Mammography Technologist - $2,419 per week

About the role

Meda Health is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 31, 2026, at an acute care hospital in Anchorage, Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Ensure patient comfort and provide clear communication during the procedure.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
• Adhere to infection control practices to prevent cross-contamination.
• Work closely with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• Current state licensure (if required).
• BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized Mammography Technologist program.
• Passing scores on relevant certification exams.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are from 08:00 to 15:30 daily.
