About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 31, 2026 in Anchorage, Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Adhere to infection control practices and maintain sterilization equipment.
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Current state certification as a Mammography Technologist.
- Experience in mammography preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of radiation protection principles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Passing score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam.
Skills
- Proficiency with mammography equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
8 hours per day, 5 days a week.
