About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mammography procedures under the supervision of a radiologist.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Document all findings and procedures accurately in the medical record.
- Adhere to infection control practices and maintain sterilization equipment.
Requirements
- Current state certification as a Mammography Technologist.
- Experience in mammography preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection measures.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Mammography Technology program.
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams.
Skills
- Proficient in using mammography equipment.
