About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a position in Portland, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography procedures according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Ensure patient comfort and provide clear communication during the examination process.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
- Adhere to infection control practices and ensure sterilization of equipment.
Requirements
- Current state certification as a Mammography Technologist.
- Experience in mammography preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection measures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Passing score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam.
Skills
- Proficiency with mammography equipment.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills.
Benefits
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
