Travel Mammography Tech - $2,769 per week

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. The position is in an inpatient and outpatient mammography setting at a teaching hospital. First‑time travelers and local candidates are accepted (local candidates at the same pay rate, no radius restriction). Job ID: P‑774348.

Schedule

• Day shift, 4×10‑hour shifts (40 hours/week)
• Shift hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, including weekends
• Schedule options: Wednesday–Saturday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, or a mixed Wednesday–Saturday rotation
• May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
• Start date: November 16, 2026

Responsibilities

• Perform 3‑D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms
• Use PACS and Epic EMR system for imaging and charting
• Float to affiliate hospitals as requested

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience
• ARRT(R) certification
• BLS certification
• OBMI certification
• State license (if applicable)
• Epic charting experience

Preferred qualifications

• Teaching hospital experience
• Experience with digital and 3‑D mammography
• PACS experience

Additional information

• RTO must be submitted upfront and should not exceed two weeks
• Former OHSU employees or travelers must have a 6+ month gap before returning as a traveler
• COVID‑19 vaccination proof required; no exemptions accepted
• Pay package based on 10‑hour shifts / 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation); tax‑free stipend amount to be determined
