Responsibilities
- Perform specialized mammography examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease.
- Prepare for and assist the radiologist with intricate mammography procedures, including breast biopsies.
- Produce high‑quality images for radiologist evaluation.
- Provide patient education regarding the exam.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
- Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain an environment of excellence that is patient‑focused, timely, compassionate, and safe.
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment for staff and patients, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Completion of a two‑year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
- Two years of Mammographic Technologist experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Pay
